Debbie Huml is Director, Direct Marketing Operations for Easterseals national office headquartered in Chicago and a member of the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers board of directors. Debbie’s responsibilities include managing the national direct response marketing and telemarketing programs which include over 30 million pieces of mail annually.
Easterseals provides exceptional services for children, adults and their families facing a wide range of disabilities, including physical, emotional, intellectual, educational and societal, so people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work, play and act in our communities. Easterseals has been helping individuals and their families live better lives for almost 100 years. Our Washington, DC office includes a staff of lobbyists that advocates on behalf of those living with disabilities to facilitate change in federal and state public policies. Easterseals was instrumental in the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990.
Debbie has had a distinguished career in direct marketing, including almost 30 years with Easterseals and was a recipient of the Direct Marketing Association Non-Profit of the Year Award in 2002. Before joining Easterseals in 1988, Debbie worked in a Chicago direct mail facility where she developed her knowledge in sales, print and mail services. She also worked at the University of Illinois Medical Center coordinating continuing education classes for medical professionals.
