TRACEY BURGOON

DAV (Disabled American Veterans)

Tracey Burgoon is the Chief Development Officer for the 1.3 million-member DAV (Disabled American Veterans). She manages the direct response fundraising and membership solicitation activities for the nonprofit organization at DAV National Headquarters in Cold Spring, KY.

Before joining the DAV staff, she was with Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing, where she served as senior account executive of national sales.

She attended Cincinnati’s Mount Saint Joseph University and also served as President of the Cincinnati Direct Marketing Association (CDMA). She is a member of the DMA, DMA Washington and DMA Nonprofit Federation (DMANF), serving on their Advisory Council.

Tracey was recognized as an Envisionary by Envision Ohio for her dedication and commitment to providing opportunities for people with disabilities through free programs she offers at her dance studio:  Wonders on Wheels (WOW) and Kids on the Autism Spectrum classes.  In 2016, her choreography for WOW had over 68 million views on social media outlets and was featured on USAToday.com, People.com, ellentube and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls.

She is the daughter of a Vietnam era disabled veteran and resides in Cincinnati with her husband, a United States Army veteran, and daughter. Their son is in the United States Air Force.
