John Hamre serves as the Direct Response Vice President out of the Wounded Warrior Project New York office. He oversees the management and leadership of the Direct Response Team, which handles all fundraising solicitations regarding direct mail, online, and direct response television. Prior to WWP, John spent 10 years serving veterans through his work with the United Spinal Association, previously known as the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association. He is also president of Wheelchair Sports Federation, a national, nonprofit organization that provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in adaptive sports.
