Eric Berman is a partner with the Washington, DC-based international law firm Steptoe LLP. He represents businesses, tax-exempt organizations, and executives in high-stakes government investigations, commercial litigation, and regulatory proceedings involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), state attorneys general, Department of Justice (DOJ), US Postal Service, and Postal Regulatory Commission. Eric has been proud to serve the Alliance as its general counsel for more than five years, helping the organization’s board and leadership advocate for nonprofit mailers before regulators and in court.
