Washington, D.C. — September 2, 2025 The Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers (ANM) announced today that Kathleen J. Siviter will become its next Executive Director, effective October 1, 2025. Siviter will succeed Stephen M. Kearney, who will retire after twelve years of exceptional leadership.

The Alliance is the only national organization exclusively representing nonprofit mailers before Congress, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), and the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC). ANM works to ensure that mission-driven organizations have affordable, reliable access to mail to sustain fundraising, communication, and program delivery.

“Over the past decade, Steve has made invaluable contributions to the Alliance and to the nonprofit mailing community,” said James Asselmeyer, Alliance Board President and Vice President of Operations at Guideposts. “His leadership and dedication have earned him widespread respect across the Postal Service, the PRC, and the broader mailing industry.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Kathy Siviter as the new Executive Director of the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers,” said Jerry Mathis, Alliance Board Vice President and Postal Affairs Program Manager of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “With decades of postal industry and association leadership experience, Kathy is uniquely positioned to advance the interests of nonprofit mailers and guide the Alliance into a strong future.”

Siviter brings a distinguished career in postal policy and advocacy. She has served as Assistant Executive Director of the National Association of Presort Mailers, President of Postal Consulting Services, and Vice President for the Association for Postal Commerce. Earlier in her career, Siviter spent twelve years at the U.S. Postal Service. She will be the 6th Executive Director in the history of the Alliance.

“I am honored to lead the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers at such a critical time for the nonprofit community,” said Kathleen J. Siviter. “The Alliance has never been more important to ensuring that charitable organizations can continue to rely on affordable, predictable, and reliable mail. I look forward to building on Steve Kearney’s legacy and working with our members to protect the vital role mail plays in sustaining the missions of nonprofits nationwide.”
