Sherry Minton started her career with the American Heart Association 40 years ago. An industry veteran, she has been directly responsible for raising over $1.3 billion in Direct Response Campaigns. She was instrumental in facilitating several pivotal projects, including the centralization of the AHA’s direct mail campaign, the revival of the ‘Neighbor’ campaign, initiating AHA’s Planned Giving Campaign, tracking of Estate Settlement gifts, and many more.

Sherry’s passion for innovative fundraising and marketing techniques has led to industry recognition for both her and the American Heart Association. Under her direction, the American Heart Association was given the 1997 DMA Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award. Sherry has been recognized by Direct Magazine as Nonprofit Marketer of the Year. and was honored with the DMA Nonprofit Federation Max Hart Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. She has been a Board Member on the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailer’s for the past 15 years.
