Debra is Director, Distribution & Postal Affairs at The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). She started in the mailing industry over 35 years ago, working at the Massachusetts Medical Society and its publication NEJM in Waltham, MA. She has held various management positions throughout the years in mailing operations overseeing postal presorting, bulk mail fulfillment, warehouse services, global shipping, and digital printing. She is responsible for overseeing worldwide distribution of the NEJM and other corporate publications.

Debra is a current board member and former Industry Co-Chair and Treasurer of the USPS Greater Boston Postal Customer Council (PCC) Executive Board. She is the former Managing Director of Membership for MSMA National and former President of the MSMA New England Chapter. Debra was the recipient of the Cliff Bennett Memorial Education Award (MSMA) in 2016 and was the Greater Boston PCC Member of the Year in 2014 and 2015. She holds mailing industry certifications of: CMDSM, CMDSS, MDC, EMCM, MDP and CDMP.

Debra is a sports enthusiast and especially enjoys watching football, hockey, and NASCAR. Hobbies include jigsaw puzzles and tending to her plants and yard. Her favorite time is spent with family including her best new pal, a Morkie puppy named Donte. Debra is Vice President of the Ciociaro Social Club of Massachusetts and a member of the Sons & Daughters of Italy.
